Premier League champions Manchester City returned from a brief break in the league with a 3-2 win at Newcastle United. The meeting was decided by the maestro who recently returned from the festival.

The match started in a very unhappy way for the Manchester club who had to make a forced substitution. The winger was not injured, but Ederson was, who collided with teammate Kyle Walker in the second minute.
