Ehitusfirma Fidele OÜ, the main construction company that started the renovation a year and a half ago, has declared bankruptcy, the claims of several hundred creditors amounting to over 4 million euros.
“We tried as long as we could. We hoped as long as we could. We did everything we could, but unfortunately this effort did not bear fruit,” said Märt Mõðus, majority owner and CEO of the longest-running company 20 years old.
“Eventually, this avalanche became so big that we had to go through the renovation, and today’s plan would have worked itself out, if only there had been work.”
The latest annual report presented by the construction company Fidele OÜ refers to the year 2020. At that time, the company’s turnover amounted to almost 7.2 million euros. The company made a profit of 57,056 euros.
As of the last quarter of 2023, the company had two employees.
The construction company Fidele OÜ has debts to the Tax and Customs Office for 210,000 euros, of which 136,000 euros are deferred. The company has 19 valid tax violations.
