The only child with this diagnosis in Estonia! Little Miroslav, suffering from an extremely rare skin disease, needs the help of good donors

It is not possible to cure the disease. However, to alleviate the symptoms, the child needs various wound care products, special plasters, bandages, ointments, etc. every month, which unfortunately are not covered by the Estonian Health Fund discount. The Health Insurance Fund finances some plasters, but these alone are not enough for such a serious illness. The annual cost of Miroslav’s healthcare equipment is 2400 euros, but since there are 8 children in the family, the additional monthly cost of 200 euros is too much for the family and they ask for a lot of help.

Miroslav’s disease is manifested by the formation of vesicles of various sizes on the skin, which, when ruptured, cause large wounds that heal slowly and cause great pain to the child. Baby’s skin is very sensitive to any type of touch and any small trauma or rubbing damages it. If blisters constantly appear in the same place, this promotes the formation of scars and scars (tissue contraction), as a result of which the mobility of different parts of the body suffers. Miroslav is still a baby, so he doesn’t have much skin surface yet, but as he grows, the costs of care products continue to increase! Due to the constantly forming blisters, there is also a risk of secondary infections, so the child’s wounds must be cared for, cleaned and bandaged daily. According to the child’s doctor, Miroslav’s family has so far done everything to preserve the child’s health and development, but as the child grows, the amount of money spent on skin care products also increases. Currently a child spends 200 euros a month on skin care products, but as the child grows, the costs continue to increase.

Please support your child and their family and help provide emergency care supplies! It really is the least we can do for the family of a child suffering from such a serious illness.
