The sale of tickets for the alumni reunion of the University of Tartu has started

During the exciting day, you can meet teachers and former classmates, visit beloved school buildings and auditoriums, do Tartu [eel]participate in university debates at the opinion festival and participate in collective songs and the evening party in the university sports hall.

While time cannot be turned back, Vice Chancellor of Education Aune Valk said it is possible to travel to the past through memories and reminiscences. “Whether it is long days of classes or sleepless nights preparing for the exam session, extremely fun student days or colorful incidents during lessons, we invite you to remember all these moments, find your educational building and support your alma mater. The alumni reunion card is also a great gift: an opportunity to notice and reconnect with old friends, to give you and your classmates common memories and time spent together. Go back to university May 18th!”

Tickets discounted at 25 euros are on sale until the end of January. By purchasing a ticket, you support the alumni reunion event and gain access to the evening party, which will feature 2 Quick Starts.

The university also invites alumni to donate to the University of Tartu’s Seventh Pillar Fund, which aims to support students in their studies and research. At the time of its founding, the foundation was named after the then patron of the Tartu University Foundation, Lennart Meri, who referred to the seventh pillar as the pillar of wisdom.
