The winners of the master class on real-time economics and digitalization have been announced!

The Master Class in Real-Time Economy and Digitalisation, a pilot program launched last October aimed at creative businesses, which brought with it several innovative ideas and important results, was successfully concluded.

At first glance it may seem that real-time economics, digitalisation and creative entrepreneurship are like socks and sandals that don’t really go together. But yesterday, December 19, the final event of the masterclass proved the opposite. The day was full of emotions and inspiration and the companies defended their plans in front of the entire audience and the jury, how they made steps towards the digital future and high-quality data thanks to the master class and what activities they will continue with .

The master class concluded with the selection of the winners, the strategy and business plans were viewed and evaluated by both the jury and the public. The public chose Uhuloss OÜ as their favorite. Their mentor Jana Liiksaar recognized his students, saying: “It was an excellent working group, where an energetic and good synergy was created. In two months a lot was done, including the mapping of the bottlenecks for which efforts were made to to find solutions with the use of digitalisation and the introduction of existing software.”

Zürii carefully assessed both the completed action plans and the ability to implement them. In a close race, 1st place for the Zuri team was awarded to PIN Arhitektid OÜ, whose feedback on the masterclass was positive. Representative of PIN Arhitektid OÜ Giovanni Porto described participation in the master class as follows: “The experience of the master class was for us like starting a new sport: a long dream and an urgent desire to develop. Being now in the early stages of digitalization, we are aware of our activities and the need for change. We have a clear plan and ambition to digitize the sales process and will continue to improve the design process.” Second place went to Uhuloss OÜ, already chosen as the public’s favorite, and third place went to Eventech OÜ. The latter perfectly demonstrated how event management and technology are a perfect match, especially when integrated with the strategic use of data.

Jury member and head of the innovation department of the joint institution EAS and KredEx Inge Laasi in his opinion, creative companies can be compared to scientists: “Entrepreneurship is like a playground that you are not used to assembling, but it is programs like these that help experts in their field to have a bigger picture. The jury was pleased to note that it was the focus on real-time economics that helped this industry map processes where data availability and real-time visibility are crucial, reducing manual work and saving time. fantastic creativity, the commitment of the leaders and the courage to experiment intertwined and stood out!”

In conclusion, the Master Class in Real Time Economy and Digitalization was not just a training program. Head of the Digital Economy Department of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Communications and member of the jury Sirli Heinsoo in my opinion it was a journey where each participant discovered new opportunities for the development of their company. “It is especially important to understand the importance of data quality early in the digitalization process,” Heinsoo said. “It’s not just a sequence of facts and numbers, but a symbiosis of creativity and technology that creates something new and exciting and gives you an edge over the competition.”

Eventech OÜ, Roman Tavast OÜ, Projekt Kuubis OÜ, PIN Arhitektid OÜ, Uhuloss OÜ, Orangetime Event OÜ, Tallinna Kontserdimaja AS, Palazzo Interiors OÜ, Kuma AS, Eesti Teaduste Akadeemia Kirjastus, Makespace OÜ, AdGorilla OÜ and Landverk OÜ took part in the master class event. The real-time economy is a digital ecosystem in which data between different solutions moves in real-time or near real-time in a structured, machine-readable and standard format as automatically as possible, both internally and between companies and in communication with the state.
