Tohoh! Ingmar Erik Kiviloo, known from the superstar show, has already participated in Eesti Laulu – TV3

Despite his young age, Ingmar has already achieved a lot. In the 2021 show “Eesti otsyb superstar” he ranked sixth and today studies at the Berklee College of Music in Boston.

Participates in the Estonian Song Contest with the song “Dreaming”. “In fact it is not the first time I go on stage to an Estonian song, once upon a time, in 2014 I was 10 years old in the interval of the final show with my band, and in 2022 I played the violin on stage during performances finals of Uku Suviste, even though there was so much confusion on stage that you could hardly see me,” says Ingmar.

“As children we often dream big, but when we grow up we no longer dare to do so. Why is this so? We let ourselves be influenced a lot by what surrounds us. With this song I want to say that you should never abandon your dreams and chase them, even if no one tells us still believes,” the young musician tells everyone.

Among other things, he reveals that a singing career was not his first dream at all. “My dream as a child was to become the director of a zoo. I also went to the zoo many times to play the violin for the animals.”

The history of Ingmar’s competition was born in collaboration with several esteemed figures from the music scene. “I had the honor of working with three creative men who together won 15 Grammy Awards. These include music producers Patrick Viala, Prince Charles Alexander and one of the best lyricists in the world, Chris Lord Alge. For example, the music of Patrick Viala has sold 180 million copies worldwide and has had 66 #1 hits on the Billboard charts. I don’t know where to start when it comes to Chris, he has worked with big stars such as: Elton John, Aerosmith , Madonna, The Rolling Stones, Celine Dion, Tina Turner, Green Day and many others.”

“My song is inspired by modern pop music, as well as classical music, rock and even gospel. My song is sung by a gospel choir that comes from nowhere else but Nigeria,” says Ingmar.

The song’s music video was filmed with director Alice Aleksandrid and Alex Tervinsky in the Pakri Peninsula and Pirita Monastery. “I went to Estonia for the filming, luckily it was only at school Thanksgiving break. On both days the weather was extremely windy and cold, but it didn’t discourage us or stop us in any way,” he says.
