Never before have such strong international artists been included in a summer of concerts, as if the long-awaited XIII festival of youth song could also be enjoyed as the icing on the cake. However, the excellent season just ended may take the fatal form of a swan song, because for 2024 there is not much to boast about, negotiations are still ongoing, but I would be extremely cautious about its realization.
However, it is not the sober and calculating mind of Estonians, but rather a much more banal reason – the movement with a minus sign on the bank account that induces caution. The rapid increase in prices and the significant increase in loan payments are reflected in the event market and visitor number forecasts for the coming season. Going to events with one ticket is quite expensive, especially if you want to please your family, which means that in conditions of a limited budget it is logical to save on entertainment.
