On Sunday, the Estonian Football Federation awarded special prizes for outstanding contribution to the development of the A. Le Coq Premium League game organisation, Estonian club football and the away match experience. With the awards, Pärnu Vaprus was recognized as Tallinna Levadia selected as a public club.
Pärnu JK Vaprus has been named the club with the best playing organization in the A. Le Coq Premium League. Tallinn’s FCI Levadia, which broke several attendance records, was awarded the special Audience Magnet award.
Levadia is the one that has improved the average attendance at home matches the most: the average number of spectators for the season was 750 for the club. At the same time, the club improved the attendance record for a Premium League match as a general season: Tallinna FCI Levadia – In the stadium Tallinna FC Flora was observed by 3,510 pairs of eyes, while the club’s season attendance was 13,504.
This year, a record 71,222 spectators attended the Premium League matches, 17,161 more than last year. Average attendance this year was 396.
Both clubs received a prize of 2,000 euros.
The special awards were awarded by ProSecurity Partner in cooperation with the Estonian Football Federation, and the joint plan of the two organizations is to annually recognize the efforts made to improve the quality of the game organization with special awards. The awarding of the special prize took into account the score of the organization of the A. Le Coq Premium League game, the number of spectators, ticket revenue, consistent work with the community, as well as the organization of special events.
