Kosenko, who was enjoying a winter holiday with her family in the French ski resort of Courchevel, was outraged when she posted a video on social media of herself throwing snowballs at her two-month-old son.
Dozens of critical comments were left under the post. “Wait, this is supposed to be funny?” one noted. “I wouldn’t throw my dog like that, and someone would throw their child into the grave,” said another.
After the outcry that followed the release of the video, Kosenko wrote that his son Leo was sleeping happily and claimed that the video was a doll after all. Furthermore, he said that he and his wife also tried to jump in the snow and survived.
The video attracted the attention of Nina Ostanina, chairwoman of the family protection committee of the Russian State Duma, who told the Telegram channel “SHOT” that a complaint will be sent to the authorities in the next few days, as previously seen on video may be considered cruel treatment of a child.
Kosenko, originally from Yaroslavl, came to public attention in 2021 when he threw a large party on the Indonesian island of Bali, which was under strict coronavirus restrictions at the time, after which he was immediately expelled from the country .
