When setting up the competition park, safety and other visitors to the aquatic center were taken into account. Discs can be thrown through showers and water hazards, climb the stairs of the highest water pipe, make a few putts there and then fall down the pipe. Getting it in the water was the icing on the cake, because one of the disc golf carts was under water in the first swim lane. On Saturday at 1.15pm all the contestants gathered in front of the Venus night club, because on this occasion the location of the X series was classified. A mysterious letter from the organizer asked to pack the equipment for 4 locations: Toompea, swimming pool, night club and theater. Although Kalev SPA is a puck throw away from the house in Mere puistee 1, most players have not guessed the location of the competition venue.
“Mysterious and extraordinary place – Kalev SPA,” commented the main organizer of the competition, Ralf Rogov, during the preparation process. “We offered four possible locations to all participants. The aim was to “rock the waters” and increase the element of expectation and surprise. I think it was a complete success, because Kalev SPA was one of the last places that we expected. Simply because disc golf has never been played in an aquatic center before, and this idea as an implementation seems more difficult than easy. I am very satisfied with the location and format of the event.”
The next Series X will be hosted by T1 Keskus on January 20th
The Gourmet Putiliiga will once again take players to the corridors, the roof, the trampoline center, various shops, the areas waiting for new tenants, the escalators, the ventilation hall, the Ferris wheel and the largest erotic shop from the Baltics, Hot Lips, from the T1 shopping center.
The icing on the cake is the 3-storey T1 leisure centre, which was last under renovation. The competition will take place on January 20th, to participate you must pay the participation fee and register on Disc Golf Metrix:
