What is the ticket price? From Monday, bus trips will again be paid in several counties. Initially two regions are accessible

On the provincial public lines of Põlva and Võrumaa, the ticket will be paid from April 1st due to the arrival of a new carrier. Provincial bus routes for which fare has been paid will continue to be paid in the future.

A single ticket costs 1.50 euros if you use an electronic ticket, i.e. a season ticket or Ühiskaart, which has been loaded in advance. By purchasing from the bus driver, the price of the same ticket is 2 euros. You can buy a ticket from the bus driver anywhere with cash, and in some places even with a bank card. The price of the monthly subscription, or 30 days, is 25 euros.

“Tickets can be purchased and money can be transferred to the travel card in the online environment filet.ee. The same includes information on which ticket outlets you can purchase tickets. For example, tickets can be purchased and personalized at the information desk of the Selver shops. Tickets can also be purchased from the bus driver and other retailers,” explained the head of the public transport department of the Ministry of Regional Affairs and Agriculture. Andres Ruubas.

People up to 19 years (also) and 63 years (also) as well as the elderly, disabled and people with partial or no working capacity can continue to travel free of charge on the region’s bus lines.

To take advantage of the travel discount, those entitled to the discount must personalize the season ticket and, if necessary, write the type of travel discount on it, and when they get on the bus they must bring with them a document certifying the right to travel for free.

Detailed information and explanations on tickets and discounts can be found on the website of the Ministry of Regional Affairs and Agriculture.
