The stories of the Eurovision Song Contest and the candidates from different countries for the big music festival always offer fans a lot of excitement. Now the seven alleged performers of the Finnish preliminary round of Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu (or UMK) have been leaked to the public. According to some rumors, it is a photo of the official list of artists, whose actual date will be announced on January 10th.
The most popular Eurovision fan site, Wiwibloggs, has labeled the alleged list as potentially fake, but is still investigating its veracity. The fact that the list is in English has caused the most doubts among fans about the authenticity of the list: why would the Finns publish their list of artists in a foreign language instead of their native language? At the same time, Wiwibloggs speculates that as UMK’s production team has become more international over the years, the list was compiled in English for a clear exchange of information.
