Talihärm, who has competed in the IBU Cup series so far this season, reached an agreement with the sub-association for a new athlete contract at the beginning of the year and came to the snow again for the team on Wednesday, when she led the team at the finish line in 14th place as Estonian presenter in the Ruhpolding MK relay.

Talihärm, moving alone on the track, took one spare cartridge while lying down and three while standing, the Estonian women’s loss in the end was almost six minutes for the winners. “I was shaking a lot while lying down, the last few weeks were not easy emotionally. As soon as I reached for the spare cartridges in the standing rotation, I said to myself, Johanna, pull yourself together and I recovered,” she told ERR .

“I tried to focus on myself as much as possible. To be present and focus on what I can control. I was so alone on the track that I was no longer nervous during the race,” added Talihärm.

In Ruhpolding Talihärm will participate in the sprint on Friday in addition to the relay. “I would like to ride better than today, because I felt I couldn’t give my all on the last lap,” Talihärm said.
