According to article 17 par. 1 of Law 5026/2023 (A’ 45), within the first fifteen (15) days of each month it is necessary to register and finalize the statements of liable persons in initial D.P.K., including spouses, estranged spouses or persons with whom a cohabitation agreement has been concluded. The statements in question are drawn up and submitted by the competent body or the administrative bodies of the body to which they belong or by which they are supervised.
Start – End of Statement Submission Deadline
Due to the need to adapt the relevant electronic application to the provisions of Law 5026/2023, the start of registration and finalization of the debtor statuses for the month of March 2024 for all those who acquired a new status from 28.02.2023 to 29.2.2024 is exceptionally set for March 19, 2024 while March 31, 2024 is the final date for the completion of the process. From the month of April 2024 onwards, from the 1st to the 15th of each month, the new debtors of the previous month as well as any debtors who have acquired status in earlier month that were inadvertently not registered.
Non-submission/incomplete registration – Consequences
