We only criticized that the only one of the candidates did not come up with a slogan and – here you are (quoting): “Well, my slogan would be – “Strong state – strong family!” The state and its security is our most important priority, because if the state is not safe, no other goals impossible to achieve.”

According to LRT, it is extremely important for Nausėda that all children have the same starting opportunities, can use non-formal education, and that pensions are dignified. “How can the strength of the family be guaranteed?” Nausėda asked himself and answered to himself: “This, of course, is primarily the state’s attention to the family, and the state must take care of the family – both its young members and children, from their adolescence and childhood until their respectable old age.” age.”

After listening to such wise words of Gitana, about equal starting opportunities for children (Perhaps – from airports?), about non-formal education (With the help of LGBT and Bartošević?), about children’s pensions (No comments!), and most importantly, that a strong state is a strong family, and to end his tirade of empty slogans with the words of Louis XIV: “The state is WE!” If anyone has forgotten, I will remind yo

President Biden approves law to block TikTok in America

Jakarta

US President Joe Biden has signed a law that will block TikTok if ByteDance fails to meet the conditions required by the United States.

In this new law, TikTok is not blocked immediately once the law is passed, but there are special requirements. If TikTok fails to meet these conditions within the specified time period, it will be blocked completely.

The requirement is that ByteDance must divest TikTok within the next year. ByteDance has been given nine months to do so, but the president can extend the time by three months if he believes there is progress in the process.

In his statement, TikTok spokesperson Alex Haurek said he would challenge the law in court, which would delay the law’s implementation, as quoted by detikINET from The Verge, Thursday (4/25/2024).

Another interesting thing is to wait for the Chinese government’s response to this law and whether it will allow ByteDance to sell TikTok and more importantly, what will happen to their unique algorithm that can make users use TikTok.

“As we challenge this unconstitutional ban, we will continue to invest and innovate to ensure TikTok is a safe place for Americans to share experiences, find joy, and gain inspiration,” Haurek explained.

TikTok CEO Shou Chew also later responded to this law through his TikTok video. According to him, this blocking is th

According to the numbers, Tesla shares are still way up: Tesla with a decline in profits in Q1 | 04/24/24

After a significant decline in sales at Tesla, company boss Elon Musk wants to bring cheaper models onto the market faster than planned. They are now scheduled to go into production ahead of the originally targeted date in the second half of 2025. The electric car pioneer has recently come under pressure from cheaper competition from China and buyers’ interest in hybrid models. Musk insists that the future only belongs to purely electric drives and once again promised that Tesla would change the industry with self-driving cars.

However, the tech billionaire did not want to provide any information about when exactly and at what price the cheaper Teslas should come onto the market. The question of whether these would be completely new models or adapted versions of the previous bestsellers Model 3 and Model Y also remained unanswered in a conference call with analysts on Tuesday.

The question was legitimate. Originally, a cheaper new model from Tesla was to be developed on a new vehicle platform – just like a robotaxi without a steering wheel and pedals. Musk promised revolutionary production techniques that would make manufacturing more efficient than ever before.

The robotaxi that Tesla plans to present on August 8th will continue to be based on the new platform. Tesla has now announced that the cheaper models will be built on today’s production lines using a mix of old and new processes. In this way, production can be expanded “in uncertain times” with lower investments.

Waste intermunicipal company MIWA, responsible for waste collection and the recycling parks in Sint-Gillis-Waas, Sint-Niklaas, Stekene, Temse and Waasmunster, will closely monitor the contents of the green organic waste containers in the coming weeks. Too often waste that doesn’t belong there ends up there, even dead chickens and used diapers.

“Gft stands for vegetable, fruit and garden waste. But we have noticed that many people use the containers to dump waste that does not belong there,” says Maxime Vanderhaeghen, spokesperson for MIWA. (Read more below the photo)

Labour Announces Plan to Renationalize Passenger Rail Services Within Five Years

Labour Plans to Renationalize Most Passenger Rail Services within Five Years

In a recent announcement, Labour party has stated that if elected, it expects to renationalize the majority of passenger rail services within the next five years. The party aims to bring the services under public control as the current contracts expire, although it acknowledges that there will still be a role for the private sector.

Labour’s plan also includes a number of other railway pledges, such as automatic refunds for train delays and improved internet connections. However, the proposed plans have faced criticism from Rail Minister Huw Merriman, who has described them as “pointless” and “unfunded.” He argues that without a clear plan to pay for the nationalization, taxes will hav
