Real estate auctions take place at the auction organized by AS Timber according to the so-called closed envelope method, where the bidder, i.e. the buyer of the forest, has only one opportunity to submit his offer. To submit a bid you must download the bid document in the auction environment, fill in the relevant fields, including the bid amount, digitally sign it and forward it to the individual email address created for each auction, which will not be opened before the auction expires. The independent server service provider confirms that the email account was not registered or that the contents of the mailbox were consulted before the deadline for submitting offers.
After the auction expires, all bids are opened at the same time and the bidder with the highest bid will be the winner. At the auction it is also allowed to place a bid lower than the starting price, but its acceptance by the seller is described in the auction conditions document.
