“Actual camera”: what do Tallinn residents think about the end of the year? | Estonia

The final year, 2023, was not as bad as one might have feared, Tallinn residents spoke on the last day of the year at the Christmas market and on the ice rink. They expect peace, health and success at work from the New Year.

“Actual camera” asked the people of Tallinn how the last year went for them.

“Basically it went well. The grandchildren are healthy, I am healthy, the children are healthy. So everything is fine,” Jüri said.

“Not the worst. I was prepared for much worse, considering what’s going on in the world,” Karoliina said.

“There were some changes in life, but they were very positive. The music ended and I got married – I found a new partner,” Guido said.

“The baby was a little sick, but otherwise everything was fine. I was able to travel a little and stay at home with the baby,” Kristel said. In the new year he hopes that his health will be good, he will be able to rest and the work will go well.

Jürgen hopes everyone does better in the new year. But Johann wants joy. “I want joy. For me and for my friends,” he said.

“May there still be peace and that things continue to go well every day and that everyone still enjoys good health”, hopes Lilian.
