Estonian ski jumper Artti Aigro took 35th place in the big mountain qualifying in the MK stage in Zakopane in Poland and advanced to the main competition.
Aigro’s aerial flight was measured at 124.5 meters, which earned him 129.3 points.
The best performance of the qualification was made by the overall leader of the MK series from Austria, Stefan Kraft, who made a jump of 140 meters and earned 157.9 points from the judges. He was followed by German Andreas Wellinger (139.5 m; 154.8 p) and teammate Manuel Fettner (134.5 m; 151.2 p). Just outside the top three places was Slovenian Peter Prevc (135 m; 151.1 p).
The main big mountain race will take place on Sunday afternoon. A team competition is scheduled for Saturday.
