ALREADY TODAY ⟩ Kanal 2 broadcasts new Turkish drama series «The Price of Love» based on real life

“The Price of Love” won the hearts of viewers in Turkey in 2022 when it became the most-watched TV program on local TV channel Star TV.

The series focuses on a prestigious and powerful family, which revolves around money and complicated relationships. The head of the family, Halis Korhand, is a successful jewelry entrepreneur who built his business from the ground up as a young man. Although leadership has now passed to his son Orhan and grandson Fuat, Halis still plays a key role in making important decisions.

The black sheep of the family is the youngest grandson of the family, Ferit, who has no interest in following in the footsteps of his father and grandfather, but wants to enjoy life as he sees fit. However, he depends on his family’s financial support, so he does not dare to seriously rebel against his family. Tired of his nephew’s irresponsible behavior, the head of the family decides to match the young man with the daughter of a rich landowner family in Gaziantep. However, events take a surprising and dangerous turn when Ferit chooses Seyran, the youngest sister of a Gaziantep manor family, as his life partner, instead of Suna, the older sister previously agreed upon by the heads of the families.

The second continuing story of the series is about a young woman, Seyran, who is forced to marry Ferit, a womanizer and rich young man, under pressure from her father. Seyran has her own goals and dreams in her life, the fulfillment of which is now called into question when she gets married. Will Seyran be able to continue her education after marriage, and is it possible that there is love between Seyran and Ferit?

“The Price of Love” focuses on complex relationships, betrayals and deep secrets that change the lives of two sisters forever. Over the course of the series, power conflicts and revenge plots intertwine, creating a gripping drama in which often life-threatening games take unexpected turns.

“The Price of Love” is on Kanal 2 Monday to Friday at 4pm from January 11th.
