An air disturbance prevented the top Ukrainian club from playing. “The Russians are destroying our football, but we will keep fighting!”

The kick-off of the match was supposed to sound on Sunday at 1pm, but since at the same time Minaj raised an air alert in the streets, it was decided to wait for the time being. Alas, not long enough.

“The clubs have agreed that the match will be postponed if the air disturbance does not end by 2.30pm. Exactly at 2.36 pm the alarm sounded, but we could not reach an agreement with Dinamo, because their players had already changed and left the pitch,” said Minaj club spokesperson Mõroslav Nebesnõk , who would still like to hold the match on Sunday.

And although the Kiev club refused to play on Monday, according to Nebesnõki there is no need to look for the culprits in Ukraine. “The main reason why the match did not take place is our Russian enemies. Enemies who continue to destroy our lives, our country and our football. We can handle them and we will definitely play against Dinamo,” Nebesnõk said.

Dinamo are in sixth place in the Ukrainian Premier League, but have played several fewer games than their rivals. Minaj is in the last or sixteenth row of the ranking.
