Angus and Anett Kulbin will perform as guests in the semi-final of the Estonian song Estonian song

In addition to the semi-finalists, the band Angus together with Anett Kulbin will take to the stage with a surprise performance on Saturday at the semi-final of the Estonian song in Tartu. The concert will be opened by Ingmar Jõla and the creative explosion of the Põmaki dancers!

15 contestants will perform in front of the public and viewers in the semi-finals of the Estonian Song. Artists who have already secured a place in the final are also expected in Tartu. The already exciting concert opens with the energetic performance Põmaki!, which brings another 15 dancers to the stage under the direction of director Ingmar Jõela.

In the semi-final, the group Angus and Anett Kulbin combine their strengths and different genres for a surprise performance, performing their interpretation of the song “Tattoo”, which led Sweden to the Eurovision victory. If the Estonian song stage is already a familiar place for Anett Kulbin, then reggae/Want Angus, who cultivates music, takes the stage for the first time in a domestic singing competition. The year has started brightly for the southern Estonian-born group of musicians, as the band has already performed at several opening events of Tartu 2024 in southern Estonian cities.

The semi-final of the Estonian song will take place on Saturday 20 January. The doors of the University of Tartu Sports Hall will be opened to visitors at 5.30 pm, the autograph session with participants will take place at 6.00 pm.

ETV and ETV+, radio listeners Raadio 2 and the ERR.ee portal will broadcast the live broadcast of the Estonian song semi-final on Saturday. The semi-final begins at 7.15pm, the television image switches to the sports hall as early as 6.45pm to mediate the pre-concert fun and frenzy.
