Another bank for the Estonian market. Easier access to borrowed money is allowed

So far, which received a special banking license from the European Central Bank in Lithuania in 2022 and operates as a bank there, is preparing to start unrestricted banking activities in Estonia as well. The founder of Fino Bank, Veikko Maripuu, confirms that the company is being established as a bank in Estonia and promises important news in this regard in the coming days. “We decided to embark on this journey with the aim of revitalizing competition in the Estonian business banking market: a large number of Estonian entrepreneurs do not have sufficient access to financing today,” explains Maripuu. He points to a study conducted in the European Union, according to which it is twice as difficult for companies in the Baltic countries to obtain financing than the European Union average. “So far’s main clients are ambitious small businesses. We will support their investment wishes in the economic recovery phase and this will allow us to grow together with them when the economy recovers,” hopes Maripuu.
