Conchita Wurst alias Thomas Neuwirth won the Eurovision Song Contest in 2014 with the song “Rise Like a Phoenix”. The artist representing Austria wore a golden evening dress as she performed her song on stage, had long dark curly hair and gorgeous makeup. The singer is still remembered for his beard.

Now Conchita is back on the scene and participates in the discovery of the winning story of the preliminary round of the German Eurovision. She is one of two supervisors who will select this year’s German Eurosong from 15 songs. The big winner will be revealed during the multi-stage show “Ich will zum ESC!”, i.e. “I want to go to Eurovision!”. Germany’s final representative will be revealed on February 8 in a live show.
The first show will be in front of German viewers as early as Thursday and Conchita will introduce the show and her co-host in an Instagram post. In the photo she is wearing a champagne colored dress, under which she has paired a black t-shirt with a yellow logo. She is wearing black heeled boots. However, she gave up her legendary long hair: she now has much shorter curls.
However, every now and then, he lets his famous quiff of hair come out into the open. On Saturday last week, Conchita took to the stage in the Austrian city of Bad Ischl, which, in addition to the Estonian city of Tartu, also holds the title of European Capital of Culture this year. The concert in the city kicked off the year of the capital of culture. For the spectacular show Conchita had dressed beautifully: she had put on a voluminous wig and wore a black dress with a full skirt from the fashion brand Royal Black.
