On the first two Wednesdays of January ETV broadcasts the documentaries “Neeme Järvi. Music above everything” and “Vetelköndija”.

Neeme Järvi is one of the most recorded conductors or even musicians in the world. His name appears on the cover of more than half a thousand audio discs, as well as a hundred other audio media, of which he is one of the many creators.
“If you think small, you can’t make great music,” says Neeme Järvi. In addition to his international reach and being the principal conductor of numerous world orchestras, he also has the mission of a cultural ambassador.
The documentary “Neeme Järvi. Music Above All”, also shown on cinema screens in autumn, follows the internationally recognized and popularly loved Neeme Järvi in his activities over the last four years in Estonia, Prague, Vienna, Glasgow and America.
Neem’s nature is revealed by his family and friends, as well as the musicians who performed with him at concerts, Nicola Benedetti, Catriona Morison, Thomas Hampson, Joshua Bell, etc. The director of the film is Erik Norkroos.

Beloved poet Kristiina Ehini’s honest, beautiful, and painful shares reveal to the viewer what experiences she had to go through to become the woman and poet she is known as today. No matter how the life and personality of the main character of the film seem fairy-tale to the outside viewer, few people have any idea how he himself turned this fairy tale into reality in his life.
The portrait film, which will be shown in cinemas in spring 2023, contains topics that Kristiina Ehin agreed to share for the first time during the filming of “Vetelköndija”. Together with Kristiina, her husband Silver Sepp, mother Ly Seppel-Ehin, sister Eliisa Ehin, the Naised Köögis ensemble and many others are also present on the cinema screen. The director of the film is Anu Aun.
