During his residence in this house, Gonzalo Rojas lived moments that left an important mark both in his work and in collective memory, such as the awarding of the National Literature Prize (1992) and the Miguel de Cervantes Prize (2003).
The house is not only a building, but a living testimony of the poet’s life and work, being the scene of events that range from its construction in 1963 to its transformation into what is known today as the “Long House.”
