The journey to see Boeing’s Starliner take flight has been a lengthy one. Initially chosen in 2010 alongside SpaceX’s Crew Dragon, Starliner has faced significant delays over the years. Despite receiving more funding than SpaceX, with Boeing getting $4.3 billion compared to SpaceX’s $2.6 billion, SpaceX has successfully delivered crews to the International Space Station eight times, while Boeing has yet to achieve a single crewed mission. Various setbacks such as development delays, issues with the capsule on the Atlas launcher, valve malfunctions, flammable materials, and faulty parachute lines have all contributed to the prolonged wait.
Boeing has conducted two uncrewed missions so far, with the first one experiencing partial failure. The second mission, funded by Boeing itself, met NASA’s standards. The next step is to send a crew on board. The question remains whether Boeing will be able to resolve their challenges and meet expectations.

PKK: seven men indicted in Paris for financing terrorism
Of the eight men arrested Tuesday in several departments, suspected of having extorted traders to finance the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK), seven were presented to an anti-terrorism investigating judge and indicted this Friday.
These men, aged around thirty to around sixty years old according to a source close to the case, were indicted for terrorist conspiracy, financing of terrorism and extortion by an organized gang in relation to a terrorist enterprise, said the National Anti-Terrorism Prosecutor’s Office (Pnat).
All were placed under judicial supervision, contrary to the requisitions of the Pnat. A “proportionate decision” by the judge of freedoms and detention, welcomed the lawyer Me Sophiane Ben Ali, who defends one of them.

However, this year the weather is not very kind to lovers. “A kiss under the cherry blossoms will probably only be possible at higher altitudes and in the mountains,” explained Lenka Hájková from the Department of Biometeorological Applications of the Czech Hydrometeorological Institute (ČHMÚ).
Due to the warm climate, nature began to wake up relatively early, but then severe frosts came. “Temperatures have dropped. Fruit growers even fear that they have damaged not only flowers, but entire trees. In the next 14 days we will see what the harvest will be like,” said meteorologist Dagmar Honsová.
It is already so clear that lovers of the plains will not be lucky with flowering trees. If they want to kiss under the cherry tree they will have to go somewhere higher. Even there, however, according to experts, there is still the risk that the flowers will be cut off by the frost and nothing will remain of them.
