Estonia’s largest private asset manager sees the effects of war in the actions of the rich

Swedbank’s head of private banking, Andres Suimets, opened the doors to the interesting world of private banking in Delfi Ärilehe. A large Swedish bank is a long-standing leader in this field in Estonia. Over 5,000 private customers and companies maintain or expand their properties with them. To enter their orbit of interest you need to have free money of at least 200,000 euros or a high monthly salary. “We are talking, for example, about top managers”, Suimets underlines the members of the latter category.

Private banking has two levels: the first is private banking itself, the second is asset management. According to Suitets, this does not necessarily mean that asset management and active investing happens for every client. You have access to a personal manager, but you can actually make decisions yourself or just keep the money in an account. But if needed, the manager is just a phone call away.
