The 105th anniversary of higher education was celebrated on Saturday evening in Haapsalu.

This year, former students will only be able to enter all Haapsalu school buildings during the day from 1pm to 3pm. The evening party was planned at the Haapsalu cultural center, where it began after the musical “How the King Got Famous” ended at 6 p.m.

The cultural center was open until 10pm as the main meeting place for former students. After that, former students had to move to different bars where special school party events took place. Both the cultural center and the party venues were full of people.

The birthday of Haapsalu Higher Education is December 19, 1918, when Haapsalu Boys’ and Girls’ High Schools began operating.
