Germany, Lithuania and Latvia are the largest exporters of beer to foreign Russia

Last year, Lithuania and Latvia became the largest exporters of beer to Russia after Germany.

Most foreign beer came to Russia from Germany, the latter’s goods accounted for more than two-thirds of beer imports into Russia in both 2022 and 2023.

If in 2022 Belgium and the Czech Republic were in second and third place, in 2023 Lithuania and Latvia rose to second and third place, reports the Lithuanian national broadcaster LRT.

So last year Lithuania exported beer to Russia with a total value of 36.5 million dollars, which accounted for 15% of imports of this drink into Russia. During the year, the export of Lithuanian beer to Russia increased by 1.9 times.

Latvia came third with an export volume of $34.4 million.

Following Estonia’s southern neighbors are Belgium with an export volume of $26.6 million and the Czech Republic with an export volume of $26.4 million.

In sixth place is Poland, which exported $5.4 million worth of beer to Russia last year.
