In Tudu village, a local made a snow village | Estonia

In Lääne-Virumaa, municipality of Vinni, in the village of Tudu, a snow village is being built thanks to the work of a local resident.

Margus Normak, testing his dexterity for the third winter on the square in front of the Tudu store, this time built an ancient snow village around the fir trees. To begin with, the master made a wall, and then he has already built more than ten houses.

The houses are lit with candles provided to the builder by local residents. The craftsman willingly shared the tricks of building a snow village with other interested people.

“At the beginning I recommend making large piles of snow and compacting it layer by layer. Then let it rest for a few days and then you can cut the pieces with a saw. It’s like a house of cards, made only of snow. Ideas are born at depending on the snow. There’s a lot of snow right now, I’ll make piles and start modeling later,” Normak said.
