While Inforter’s stake in Tallink Group was 36% in 2013, the equity position has been actively increased during the last decade. As of December 20, Inforter owns 42.1% of Tallink, but to obtain the majority it would still require investments of almost 41 million euros.

This year Inforter has purchased Tallink Grupp shares 29 times for a total of over 15.5 million, paying an average price of 0.68 euros for each share. Thus, almost €10.36 million was invested in Tallink in 2023.

Since December 14, when Inforter went public, the company has purchased 208,631 Tallink shares. It cost just under 144,000 euros. As of today, the company owns a 42.1% stake in Tallink and to obtain a majority stake it would need to purchase nearly 60 million more shares.
