Jüri says the card trick was a play on words and a motif. “What was conveyed by the images – there were still gambling houses and… the Eurovision team of the Estonian National Broadcasting Company wanted to add more funk and make the performance more intense. They also wanted to add two card tricks to start with, but I managed to draw a line on one. I learned it and still enjoy doing this trick at parties. (I smiled.) In that sense, it’s like a cute joke for the rest of my life. When I perform at Eurovision, I mainly focus on the card trick, so as not to miss it.”
How did this card pop out of Jüri’s sleeve? “I can’t open the contents of the trick, I have a contract with the magician Jürgen Weber regarding this trick. Of course, watching the video raises other questions that I can’t answer, but yes, it was a well thought out thing.”
