A few years ago, Karl Madis (64) realized one of his long-time dreams: he sold his previous house, his childhood home in Kristiine, Tallinn, to his eldest son Glen, and with the money received he built a new private house on the seaside of Ihasallu near the capital. There Karl enjoys family happiness with his young student lover Maris Sus (25) and their common son, Carl-Matheo, born on August 8. The last time Karl experienced family life was twenty years ago. Carl-Matheo is his fifth child and fourth child.
Maris and Karl immediately offer their guests a friendly introductory visit to their shared home. We go up from the large living room, which smoothly transforms into an open kitchen, to the attic with high ceilings, where the partners have two large bedrooms and a bathroom. Between the rooms on the second floor there is a separate corridor – there the whole family of Maris and Karli could sleep on the floor.
