Katri Teller on TV work: I lost my income eight times

“You don’t get rich by teleworking, rather you pay. Since I was on TV for more than a year and also started studying, I lost eight times my income!” Teller revealed.

“They say if you want to work in TV, you have to get the money from somewhere else. In the media field we still have a kind of flea market where not much money moves.”

Teller announced last March that he would continue to host “Stuudio.” “To move forward in life you have to make choices. After careful consideration, I have decided to end my journey as host of ‘Studio’ TV3,” Teller wrote on his Instagram at the time history‘S. “Thankful for the experience!” he adds.

Raised in poverty, Katri Teller went to work at an early age. She says she doesn’t like being called a millionaire because having money in her bank account has never been a goal in itself. Katri’s desire is to be free in her choices.

Katri earned her first million with a property purchased at the right time, in crowns of the time. However, during the previous economic crisis, she lost everything and had to start over. Katri went to work in Italy in 2013, then she made a career in London, saving and investing. “My savings rate was 80% of my salary,” she said.

This summer Katri promised herself and the Investment Festival audience that she would retire at the end of the year. “As they say: man plans and God laughs. I received an offer from TV3 that I couldn’t refuse and the pension plan fell from heaven”, Katri laughs.
