The defending champions Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers have won the semifinals of the American professional football league NFL. The final game, or Super Bowl, will take place on the night of February 12, Estonian time.
Last year’s winner Kansas City and playoffThe highest-scoring Baltimore Ravens. Playing as the visiting team, Kansas City scored on their first attack touchdown‘I, I take a 7-0 lead. Baltimore responded on the next offense touchdowneach and tied the score.
In the second quarter, Kansas City scored ten unanswered points and entered halftime with a 17–7 lead. The visitors gave Baltimore several opportunities to close the gap in the second half, but the hosts could only gain three points and Kansas City ultimately won the game 17:10.
Kansas City is playing in the Super Bowl for the fourth time in five years. Last year the Philadelphia Eagles were defeated 38:35, in 2021 the Tampa Bay Buccaneers were recognized as superior 31:9 and the year before they defeated the San Francisco 49ers 31:20.
This year’s Super Bowl is a rematch of the 2020 Super Bowl, with the 49ers advancing from the NFC Conference semifinals, defeating the Detroit Lions 34-31 at home.
The Lions started the game better, leading 14-0 after the first quarter and 24-7 at halftime. The 49ers rallied in the second half and won the game with a 27-0 run that gave them a 34-24 lead with three minutes left. The Lions managed to get within one with time remaining touchdownscore, but they failed to do more.
The 49ers are playing in the Super Bowl for the eighth time and their last title victory was in 1994.
The 58th consecutive Super Bowl will be played on the night of February 12, Estonian time, at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada. Usher performs during halftime of the Super Bowl.
