Ketamine, the equivalent of general anesthesia, was found in Matthew Perry’s blood

The autopsy and autopsy results of Perry, who was found drowned in the pool of his Los Angeles mansion in late October, were recently made public. According to People magazine, the popular actor died due to ketamine intoxication. Drowning, coronary heart disease and the effect of buprenorphine, used to treat opioid addiction, were mentioned as additional factors.

According to the narko.ee portal, ketamine is a synthetic hallucinogen, used as a means of stunning both humans and animals (for example, to calm horses). Perry had lost consciousness under the influence of ketamine and had sunk under the water. Based on blood tests, it was concluded that the main fatal factors were cardiovascular hyperstimulation and respiratory dysfunction.

According to the medical examiner, the “Friends” star had been treated with ketamine for depression, but the last session occurred a week and a half before his death. So Perry had to get ketamine elsewhere. According to the toxicology examination, the level of ketamine in the deceased’s blood was equal to the dose used for general anesthesia during operations, Femalefirst reports.
