LeBron James has another NBA record to his name | basketball

On Thursday, LeBron James became the first player to be selected 20 times in the NBA All-Star Game.

James, who until that year shared the record with Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, made his first All-Star appearance in 2005, his second season in the league. Kobe Bryant was selected to the All-Star Game 18 times, Tim Duncan, Kevin Garnett and Shaquille O’Neal 15 times.

“I appreciate my fans who have been with me throughout this 21-year journey. I feel fortunate to be able to do what I love and try to give back to the game that has given me so much over two decades,” James said.
