LOOKING FOR A HOME ⟩ A cat who has lived in a shelter for almost a year misses the warmth of home

Until now, the kitten has been waiting for his person in the shelter for almost 12 long months. Kalev is already seeking contact with humans, willingly accepts treats and gets along well with friendly species. Every new day he brings more courage to the kitten.

The cat is microchipped, vaccinated, neutered and dewormed.

Eve Meos, the administrator of the Pärnumaa animal shelter, said the shelter currently houses around 80 cats and four dogs. “Since we are still in replacement premises, we cannot accept any more dogs for the time being,” she said, adding that conditions will improve soon as they move to a new home.

To find out about the animals waiting for a home, you need to contact the shelter by calling 524 6705 or writing to [email protected]. The shelter is also looking for volunteers to contribute their time to help the four-legged friends.
