On the occasion of the 88th anniversary of the birth of Olev Oja, the presentation of the book will be held on December 16th at 3 pm in the Süda Hall of the Museum of Theater and Music “Moments from the life of Olev Oja in pictures” presentation. The presentation will be moderated by the book’s author, Age Raa.
Current flow (1935–2023), longtime Estonian orchestra and choir director and music pedagogue, said:
“I have never looked at any image as simply capturing a moment. Each image is made up of details that all tell their own story. You just need to be able and willing to see these details, and you will immediately understand that a single image can tell you a long story about people, the situation in which these people find themselves, the moment in which the event was photographed, nature, customs and much more , much more.
I hope that the moments of my life, collected in the book in the form of images, also tell readers about the moment in which the photos were taken and the people who remained in these photos. These images are fragments of my life, my work, my profession, my classmates, my students, my family, the nature I enjoyed every day.”
