“I’m used to it because I was born in the Czech highlands. It’s called Czech Siberia,” the man explained, referring to his habit of wearing shorts. “There’s not a lot of snow, and not a lot of altitude, but a lot of strong wind. Cold wind. And I’m used to the cold. I’ve been wearing shorts in the winter for many years.”
Jan told Alvar Tiisler that he has long pants. “I have one, it’s my wedding dress. They’re the only long pants I have,” the cameraman said. “Summer is hard for me. I always have to acclimatize for several weeks.”
The MK biathlon series will continue early next year in Oberhof, Germany.
