The holiday season also brought a lot of work for road maintenance workers during Christmas week and many snowplows and other snow removal equipment could be seen on sidewalks and driveways. In total, more than 184 cubic meters of snow have been removed from the capital since the beginning of winter.
In the period from 18 to 27 December, an average of 37 plows and 32 multifunctional tractors were used on the roads every day. In addition, other snow transport equipment was also used.
