The bankruptcy trustee is sceptical: Eviko Ehitus’ assets could turn out to be much lower than expected

The company’s temporary liquidator Maire Arm told the publication that the largest creditors are Eviko, Verde Ehituskonsult (formerly known as Eviko Engineering Office) and the Tax and Customs Office, to which the company owes 181,301 euros.

The bankruptcy trustee of Eviko Ehitus has found that the company has debts of almost 3.4 million euros. According to Armi, the company has no material assets and the assets are only credits arising from construction disputes. According to the administrator, the debtor himself estimated the size of their volume at 380,000 euros, but Arm himself is of the opinion that since this is a construction dispute, the final result is currently unpredictable and it is unlikely that the available amount will be reached . more than 100,000 euros, just under.

Two companies bear the Eviko name, one of which has already been declared bankrupt. Eviko AS, which has been in business for nearly 33 years, filed for reorganization this spring and was declared bankrupt by the court in December. Eviko’s bankruptcy trustee, Indrek Lepsoo, said that in his opinion the company does not have significant bankruptcy assets that can be realised, but debts amounting to almost seven million euros have accumulated.

Eviko eitus OÜ, 50% owned by Tartu Eviko, started the restructuring process in August. Creditors approved the restructuring plan which took effect on November 17, but bankruptcy proceedings began a week later.
