The dispute between the former deputy mayor and principal Hendrik Agur has reached the Supreme Court

Last year the Viru County Court ruled that Kohtla-Järve city councilor Janek Pahka must refute false accusations against city councilor and former deputy mayor Riina Ivanova, Põhjarannik wrote. The court ordered Pahka to publish the Facebook account “Restart Kohtla-Järve” without any additions under the title “Refutation of the false accusation published against Riina Ivanova”. The court rejected Ivanova’s claim against Jaanek Pahka, Mare Roosilehe, Hendrik Agur, Svetlana Vladimirova, Jevgeni Saltýkov, Svetlana Kollo for compensation for non-pecuniary and pecuniary damages and for further delay in paying the full amount.
Agur previously told Õhtuleh that the case concerns a previous motion of no confidence presented by council members and which he also signed. The deputy mayor didn’t like the wording, he added.
The Tartu District Court’s decision was not changed by the Tartu District Court, which heard the case. Now the dispute has reached the Supreme Court.
