The Estonian U20 team had to surrender to the Latvians in the EEVZA tournament despite Tähe’s super match

Tristan Täht performed very well for the Estonian team, bringing 27 points (+19), Ranel Rahuoja added 11 points (+5) and Robin Puss 9 points (+5).

The Estonians’ reception was 36%, attacks resolved 41%, 6 points were earned from the block and 1 service ace and 13 errors were made.

Kristers Landzands became the top scorer of the Latvian team with 21 points (+13). The Latvians received 52% and the attack 41%, 6 points were obtained with the block and 7 points with the serve (12 errors).

The EEVZA Championship is also the first round of the European U20 Championship selection series. All teams face each other once, the winner of the tournament directly guarantees a place in the finals of the U20 European Championship 2024. Places 2.-4 qualify for the second round.
