The French prosecutor’s office has closed the investigation into Depardieu’s sexual violence in a foreign country

The complaint filed last year against French film legend Gerald Depardieu for sexual assault in 2007 has expired, the prosecutor’s office announced Monday.

Depardieu, 75, has also been accused of rape, more than ten women have accused the star of sexual harassment and assault. Depardieu has denied all allegations.

According to the Prosecutor’s Office, at the end of December, the investigation into the complaint by actress Helene Darras, according to which Depardieu had groped her in 2007 during the filming of the film, had been abandoned.
