The Green House cafe, which has already celebrated its 12th and unofficially 15th birthday this year, approached the community in November with a request for help to install a new roof on the cafe and the Green Fur House, which is became known as poena. Cafe owner Enn Onni told Sakala that the cafe itself does not have the means to undertake such work, as changing the roof is expensive, especially changing the historic stone roof.
On the online crowdfunding platform Hooandja, the bar owners set themselves the goal of raising 15,000 euros, but this goal has not yet been reached. In the first two days of donations in November, almost six thousand euros were collected, on the morning of December 24th this figure had reached 12,451 euros. However, if the Green House cafe does not reach its goal by January 9, Hooandja will simply return the money to the donors and the cafe will have to start looking for other opportunities.
