Now we can cover the news several times a year, where once again a new 6-wheel SUV has rolled out of the garage of a tuning company. Even though it may seem like nothing new can be invented, creative car enthusiasts always find a way to surprise.
Among the various 6×6 SUVs, it is even surprising that the icon of American SUVs, the Hummer, was not built by anyone as a 6-wheel vehicle. At least as far as we know, this has not happened so far. But now there is a tick – and what else.
Aside from the obvious three-axles, the military-sourced Humvee H1 is much, much lower, much longer, and has Dodge’s famous 6.2-liter supercharged Hellcat V-8 engine that should produce at least over 700 horsepower. Furthermore, it is also a mid-engined vehicle.
