The annual sale of salted elk and deer hides occurs in February of this year.
The skins are collected and resold to a Finnish company that turns them into dog food. As a matter of good practice, we make the most of the game we hunt.
Prices 2024:
- Moose skin 17 euros,
- moose calfskin 9 euros,
- deer skin 5 euros,
- deer calfskin 2 euros.
Used salt is charged at an estimated rate of 10kg for large leather, 5kg for calf leather. The price of salt could be the average wholesale price of salt (about 0.35 cents/kg).
Payment based on invoice or sales contract.
