The Radio Broadcasting Museum has opened an updated exhibition on the history of television

Over the course of two years, the entire exposition of the television story was renewed. The new exhibition offers an overview of the development of television in Estonia with the help of historical technical equipment, photographic and video material and textbooks. Additionally, the host can experience making a TV show in three studios from different eras, with TV stars from the past and present as the backdrop.

The photographic and video material of the exhibition comes from the collections of the Estonian National Broadcasting Company, the National Archives, Kanal 2, TV3, Delfi Media and the Estonian Broadcasting Museum. Equipment exhibited from the Radio Broadcasting Museum collection.

The permanent exhibition was set up by Juhan Sihver, the texts were written by Hagi Šein, Aune Unt and Urmas Loit. Designed by Silver Vahtre, technical implementation by Salibar and Timmet Metall.

The renovation project was supported by the Heritage Board through the ‘Museum Accelerator’ programme.
