The share price will fall by 40% on Saturday.

The highest price, 80.20 euros per megawatt hour, is paid for electricity in Estonia on Saturdays between 10 and 11 am, while the cheapest electricity is paid on Sunday night, from midnight to 1 am, when the price drops to 61.65 euros.

In Latvia electricity costs the same as on Saturday in Estonia, in Lithuania 2.6% more, 77.13 euros per megawatt hour. In Finland the price is 21.4% lower than in Estonia, 59.07 euros per megawatt hour. The highest average price was recorded on Saturday in Belgium, where it reached 93.92 euros.

Last Friday, January 5, the price of electricity in Estonia set a new record, reaching a daily average of 890.54 euros per megawatt hour. The previous daily record in the Estonian price zone dates back to August 17, 2022, when the price in Estonia reached 682.05 euros, while within an hour the price reached 4,000 euros per megawatt hour.

The average price in December last year in the Estonian price zone was 89 euros per megawatt hour, 66.2% lower than in the same period in 2022, when the average monthly price was 263.45 euros per megawatt hour. Compared to November the price fell by 15.4%.
